How much lighter is the Superlight option?

December 03, 2020 10:38

The Superlight Titanium frame reduces the weight by approximately 750g when compared to the Steel frame option.

There are a unique set of lighter-weight specifications for Superlight bikes:

Titanium alloy front fork, rear fork, lightweight front wheel, headset and handlebar grips. Superlight bikes with mudguards have titanium alloy mudguard stays.

The Superlight option replaces the steel alloy used in the front fork and in the rear frame with titanium alloy.

Titanium is lighter and slightly more flexible. The weight saving is particularly appealing if you expect to carry the bike regularly and the slight flexibility in the frame makes the titanium frame more comfortable over longer journeys.

Select Superlight from the menu of specifications, at Stage 1 of building your bike, here.
