The frame parts are covered against manufacturing and material defects for 7 years if your bike has been registered on MyBrompton section (2 years for non-registered bikes). This includes the handlebar support, front frame, mainframe, and rear frame in Steel or in the Titanium options. I
We also cover the other components against manufacturing and material defects for 2 years.
Please note that this does not cover cosmetic damage, neglect, abuse or fair wear through normal use. This also includes paint, decorative finishes, and decals.
Certain components are intended to wear and are therefore not covered under warranty. These include brake pads, gear and brake cables, pivot bushes and bearing surfaces, seat sleeve, seatpost, tyres, and drivetrain components.
Depending on usage, we recommend a minimum of 1 service per year, after the recommended 100 mile service. For commuters or regular riders, we recommend regular inspection and servicing of your bike by your authorised Brompton dealer, and for further details on our warranty please consult your owner’s manual.
